After school activities

Holland International School provides a wide range of after school activities, the so called Co-Curricular Activities (CCA). Children can choose a sport, but they can also take language classes, art lessons, drama, technical lego, typing, or coding lessons! All activities take place in our PE hall, music room, art room or classrooms or at the premises of the Hollandse Club. Activities begin immediately after school and children can be taken home afterwards by the CCA bus. It’s great fun and it couldn’t be easier!

Varied programme

Most activities are taught in blocks of approximately ten lessons, but some last all year. In drama, for example, children work on a play for the entire school year and perform it at the end of the year. You can also choose a programme for each term. You can find the booklet for the current CCA offering here.

Qualified teachers

Co-Curricular Activities (CCA's) are taught by qualified teachers and sport coaches. Activities take place Monday to Friday and are based on age groups. There are activities for all groups.

Sports

Holland International School belongs to the Athletic Conference of Singapore International Schools (ACSIS), an umbrella organization of all large International schools in Singapore and participates in several annual sports tournaments and events.

Language

Conversational French, Conversational Spanish and Conversational Mandarin are also offered as after-school activities to deepen or broaden language development. The Extra English and Dutch language lessons are given by teachers from our own English and Dutch Department. For other languages, an experienced and qualified teacher is hired.
